Tide Gauge

Principal Investigator: Dr. José López González

Description

Sisal Tide Gauge
The Sisal tide gauge has a radiometric sensor that measures the distance at which the free surface of the water is.

Celestun Tide Gauge
The Celestun tide gauge has two sensors, one of them is by a floating body and the other is a radioelectric sensor.
The free surface water level readings are recorded by a motion sensor that responds to the displacement of the surface water by means of the float.
The radiometric sensor measures the distance at which the free surface of the water is and then the tide is obtained by performing a subtraction of levels.

Telchac Tide Gauge

The Telchac tide gauge is the float type describe before and the readings of the free surface water level are recorded by a motion sensor.
